Welcome to the "All American Sport"... baseball. Ahhh yes, the Chicago Cubs. I found it interesting the "Billy Goat Curse" once again makes the news. It makes me sad for the goat, but on with the news.... Apparently they found a goat head hanging from the Harry Caray statue in Chicago before the Home Opener. This is a a copycat of 10/03/2007 when a whole butchered goat was hung in the same place. These are just two of the many attempts to break the curse. This whole fiasco fascinates me.
For those of you who have never heard of this, which was yours truly until last year, here's how it goes. Billy Goat Tavern owner, Billy Sianis, took his smelly goat to the Cubs' World Series game in 1945. Fans complained and he was asked to leave. In his outrage he cursed, "Them Cubs, they aren't gonna win no more!" Does this "curse" mean there would never by another World Series game played at Wrigley Field??

I think they should bring 40,000 goats to watch a game at Wrigley. You can't get in without a goat. If we win the curse is over, if we lose you kill all the goats.
