A Princess' Welcome!

Welcome to my thoughts and stories here at the Castle.  Born Cynthia Pate and raised in Rockford, Illinois.  A true Rockfordian.   If you're wondering why Cynderella,  that is what my Grandpa called me.   Along with Princess, Ballerina, and probably a few other names not to my face.  He's really the only one that nicknamed me.  My Dad commonly referred to me as "the daughter" and to Mom I was "Honey" and "Sweetheart", and of course the proverbial use of first and middle name when naughty.  My Brother and I referred to each other by our given names, and friends usually refer to me as "Cyn" to which my Mother whole heartedly disagrees with.  Nevertheless, it was my customized license plate on my '78 Pinto!

I began blogging thinking it was going to provide a second income to our household. Wrong.  But it did turn out to be fun and I realized I have a passion for writing.  So, while I'm trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up, I hope you find my stories and reviews helpful and interesting.  The comma usage may not be exactly correct, nor the grammar, but they are my thoughts put into words using my expressive creativity.

Facebook where I check in almost everyday.  This is where I go to keep up on  the things my friends are doing, yes what they are eating and what their weather is for the day. Can't help creeping.  Oh, and don't forget to check out the games I'm playing.

Examiner is my paying job.  Ok, who am I kidding?  But it is my publishing experience. Some day, when I'm making the big bucks, we'll look back on this and laugh.

Twitter because that's what you do.  You Tweet.  Your social media credentials aren't complete without a Twitter.  LOL

Tumblr for an additional insight to my personality and creativity.   I created ZigZapping for all my geeky granny friends.  We sit around discussing favorite apps and games and then go home and can't remember where to find them.  ZigZapping keeps us hip and able to communicate with our younger generations.  Go ahead, visit and add anything you find interesting!

Pinterest oh yes!  If you are already a Pinterest addict I don't need to explain.  If you haven't been on Pinterest yet.... where've you been?
